Refs and Gary got what they wanted. This league is disgustingly incompetent

The Flag is going to be reduced to tatters at this rate!

We lost 2 gamed. Won 6 out of 7 or so before that. With the Rags and Sabres struggles, not sure if I'd call that a slump

Three real bad games in a row is a slump, IMO. Don't care that they managed to squeak out a win against Seattle in the fake skills competition after the Kraken were just completely hopeless at finishing.

I really don't get bothered by losing games where you dominate in possession and shots. Mind you, I watched the Cats when they were selling us the Sawgrass Express line as the future.

We learned last season that being the defending Cup champs means that every road game is playing against a team that heavily advertised the game as featuring the defending Cup champs, the game was a highlight of their season, and their players always brought their absolute best A-game. You can kind of handle it early in the season, but it can really wear on you as the season goes along. Being the defending Cup champs is a nightmare in that sense, but it can also make you a much better team if you can stay healthy (Vegas could not).

Watching the Cats since 93, I'll take the cup win and deal with the repercussions.

Oh yeah, and part of it is the Panthers have a reputation for playing hard in the regular season... a reputation that is clearly not warranted this season. I recall last season there was an interview, I believe with a Penguins player, in which he complained that the Panthers were playing hard and throwing the body in November. I mean, buddy, that's why fans pay for tickets.
