I only saw the play once but it didn't look like he stuck his leg out. If Bennett tris to avoid the hit and Nusrse doesb't stck ourt his leg that's not his fault.

No, he really doesn’t. You’re allowed to deflect pucks with your skate. On ice or lifting it up.

I think it's fair to question an unsportsmanlike call, but unless the guy going to the box or the ref is mic'd up, we'll never know what was said. Always reminds me of watching junior hockey when you see that call.
