He shouldn't play until he is 100% healthy....when he plays he is going to be on the top unit.

The leafs have 7 PP goals in the 3 games since he was out. They had 4 all season before that.
If they are still performing like that when he is ready to come back you can’t break it up. It will hit a lul again at some point then you can try to get a jump by putting Matthews back on it.

I just look at their vets, and you have Savard and Mattheson on D, maybe Evans and Anderson on forward. They're all good, Anderson maybe not so much, but they were all passengers or tertiary players on better teams. Not the kind of guys who can tell the kids to dig in.
