Yea that's the rule. Whistle was blown and it took two swipes at it to put it in after the whistle.

If it was a shot that happened at the same time or just after the whistle it might count, but not with the double clutch.

Awful whistle though, puck wasn't even close to covered.

That should have been a trip by Marner on Letang, leading to a goal. I'm surprised the Refs let that go after that early whistle

Honestly, the early whistle followed by missed trip, such a disaster of officiating tonight in Pittsburgh.

And having said that, Leafs have been the far superior team so there's that.

Embellishment what? That was a straight up trip. Should only be a Stl penalty ffs.

Completely outrageous call

He was stretching out to get a pass that was in front of him while trying to keep his leg skate onside and got tripped, what was he supposed to do there? not fall down? lol
