Iceland II the hotter crappier version.
Yeah, I'm not holding it against Hill because these November games aren't exactly the most important as long as we make the playoffs one way or another.

Local rumor (for that that's worth) is that Logan Thompson had developed an attitude about splitting time with Hill that was not conducive to keeping him around, similar to how McCrimmon got rid of Fleury because of his incessant whining about having to split time with Lehner was causing problems.
If it weren't for the October/November games last year, we would have been well and truly on outside.

Pretty impressive win for the Leafs all things considered. Missing a couple key players but get an immediate impact from the inserted rookies.

Hope Knies is okay

Well Thompson wanted out because we kept trying to force Hill to happen. LT would play great and we would without fail always go straight back to Hill who has been complete trash since coming back from injury last year. LT is the better goalie by far so we take a step back everywhere in Goal.

Ahhh hadn't heard that he wasn't happily camping. That makes sense then.
Two Calgary area goalies that always kill the Flames so thought it was strange they moved LT when he still had another cheap year left.

Oh it was absolutely the wrong move, and it's a Hill I'll die on (Pun fully intended) Especially for a cap strapped team like us it was Idiotic to move the better goaltender on a cheaper deal for a goalie that played well for us that one time, even if that one time was a cup win. People talk about Vegas management being ruthless, I'd be even more so, I appreciate what you did but it's the future that's ahead of us, not the past. I would without hesitation have sent Hill packing if thats what it'd come to.

Somebody needs to explain to me the difference between the the difference between the Reaves hit and what happened to Knies because to me it is the EXACT SAME HIT, the ONLY difference is Knies wasn't bleeding.

No call on the hit in fact Vegas got a PP somehow.

Refs tried to screw the Leafs tonight.

Didn't work.

Tuned in late, but man has Seattle been playing some good, well-structured hockey in the 2nd period at least.

Neither the Sabres nor the Kings want to score goals tonight apparently. Nearly 2/3rds through the game and only a dozen shots each?

I've not seen that at the pro level.

I've seen a team submit the wrong lineup and have to play short a man all night but never this.
In 2002 I was at Giants Stadium for the first MetroStars game post WC 2002 where the US had a great run and our star player (and one of the biggest "what ifs" in soccer history if he never suffers that serious injury in 2001 where he was never the same) Clint Mathis actually played and scored a goal vs South Korea. He was to come on as a substitute in the second half but unfortunately in a stunning mistake his name was not on the team sheet submitted to the official and thus he was ineligible to come on.
