I'd say the three goals called back. The Lorentz and Knies goals and the Caps goal where Woll got barely touched and it was considered goalie interference. The puck bounced off Lorentz's thigh and somehow it gets called back and Knies stick was going down when it made contact with the puck.
None of them were that bad.
If you hit the goalie’s blocker as the puck is coming in, expect the goal to come back. It doesn’t really matter how hard.
Lorentz clearly made a kicking (or “kneeing”) motion to hit the puck into the net, even if that rule needs to be far more clearly defined.
Knies is the closest one. I think there’s a second angle that shows it was probably high. The only thing that really bugs me about that one is 9/10 times refs will let close high sticks stand and Leafs probably win the “inconclusive” coin flip if the call on the ice is a goal. But I’m far from certain it’s a good goal.
