The kick rule is pretty ridiculous, I swore that was coming back, vs. the goal off the wild skate earlier.100% ruled a kick if Bennett was still a Flame

Didn’t kick it.The kick rule is pretty ridiculous, I swore that was coming back, vs. the goal off the wild skate earlier.
Yeah, but those calls are never standard.Didn’t kick it.
Wow Bobby slid waaayy out of crease lol
“This leafs team is different”
Lol
I’ve hated seeing all those comments so far so that’s one positive about tonight

Paper tigers. You expect them to not lose games? Esp tonight, if you watch the goals they do not go in on an NHL goalie. We have a 23 year old in net playing his 2nd NHL game.
You'd think a kicking motion would be easy to spot. I'd guess it happens 10 times a year at most.Leafs and Habs both taking the night off I see.
Knew it was cooked when the NHL called in a review to call back Coleman's playoff goal against the Oilers. He was on one skate at full speed being checked into the net for christ sake. 'Kicking motion' I guess can be whatever they want it to.
Bennett also just had an inexplicable amount of goals called back when he was with the Flames. One time I swear I heard the ref say no goal on the ice due to the economic climate in southern India.
I never said thatYou expect them to not lose games? Esp tonight, if you watch the goals they do not go in on an NHL goalie. We have a 23 year old in net playing his 2nd NHL game.
I never said that
I said I hated seeing those comments. After only a handful of games it’s nonsense. This team hasn’t broken their up and down nature yet.
The point is we don’t really know who they are yet this season. I’m not against optimism but I don’t think you can definitively say one way or another that they are truly different. Especially when it’s something we’ve experienced quite a bit of in this era.Tonight is a shit show but they absolutely have not played this way this season...
As an outsider, I think you'll be better in the playoffs, but the team to beat talk never goes well in week 2.I never said that

They do move up and down the ice so quickly. They also defend with speed and have given the Leafs a lot of trouble transitioningEven with all the issues, the Jackets are going to be very hard to play against all year.
They play very fast hockey and they are aggressive and they’re very fun to watch.

This game is kind of a part of this season. Every team has ups and downs throughout a season.Tonight is a shit show but they absolutely have not played this way this season...
That’s enough for my vote, Mr Commissioner. Bye! GARY!!Two things about the "Frozen Frenzy" I would change.
1 - Have it on a Saturday night. Tuesdays are dumb.
2 - Try to work it so that we have a bunch of rivalry games.
No. He should have been pulled after the 3rd goal. The goals weren't on him but the team needed a kick in the ass. A time out would have been nice too.Goalie pull after 11 mins is crazy.
But Rangers are clinical as f*** tonight
