Columbus will NOT have any gimmees in those last two games.
Despite the Flyers' struggles, John Tortorella is a coach that absolutely despises losing, and certainly won't play dead for anyone else's beneift.

And the Isles?
Well, they have a roster full of semi goons who want to hit everything they see, want to finish ahead of the Rangers just to spite them, and, they STILL think they have a chance at the playoffs!
Semi goons!? Where? Who? wtf is this sh*t...

Oilers game plan pretty clear with all the sticks to wrists and high in scrums especially for Perry and brown

Wouldn’t mind it if it were the actual players just playing hard but it’s all the plugs just trying to take someone out with them

Rule 78.5 (Disallowed Goals) and Rule 37 (Video Review) in the NHL Rulebook. Once a shootout attempt is ruled "no goal" and the next shooter takes their attempt, the play is considered dead, and the original ruling cannot be overturned. The officials’ decision on the ice stands unless video review is immediately initiated before the next attempt begins. If the puck crosses the line but is missed, and play continues with the next shooter, it’s too late to reverse the call. No goal.

And apparently the NHL is always clueless because someone remembers them changing a goal after several atempts in a Habs Ducks game around 2011. Habs got screwed there too but won the shootout.
I just looked up Rule 78.5 and 37 and see no mention at all of shootout goals.

Neither of those rules say that explicitly about shootouts. You’re interpreting rules that describe the procedure during regular game time and assuming it applies to shootouts, which is an entirely different situation.

Did you add the words "shootout attempt" yourself?

...it was a goal and it deserved to count, whether they noticed it before or after Laine shot...Montreal imploded after a great start by Demidov and deserved to lose...
