When the bottle was opened,
The Jets began to sing,
Wasn't that so dandy,
Since tonight they play the Kings!
The Kings were in their gym,
Lifting up some weights,
Dustin Penner was eating pancakes,
But nearly dropped the plates.
Brad Marchand was at the mall,
Shopping for new clothes,
When out of absolutely nowhere,
A fan made fun of his nose.
There was such a commotion,
That he tried to start a fight,
Then the police came to arrest him,
Putting him in jail for the night.
The Bruins went down to Washington,
And tanking was their role,
Out slid Alex Ovechkin,
Who shot the puck at goal.
The goalie tried to save it,
And up went his blocker,
Leah Hextall tried to comment,
But all we did was mock her.
And thus the game night ended,
And some teams certainly won,
I shall now end on a non sequitur,
See if I don't.
