I think I wanna travel to Seattle and cheer the road team. Don't get me wrong- I appreciate Seattle as a city quite bigly as a Vancouver guy. I got to see my Packers clown the Shithawks there three months ago. On the other side of the coin I was there for the Fail Mary game as well. Seattle giveth, but Seattle also taketh away.

Nah, the Oilers' management solution to pretty much every personnel need is to add another scoring forward.

If you think that is facetious, consider that the Oilers are really the only true contender in the NHL that is built on the premise of always being able to outscore the opponent no matter what else. The Oilers are built from the forwards back, whereas most other contenders are built from the goalie out.

With that outlook, it doesn't even make sense to waste cap on another defender unless it is a scoring defender .... but since it is so much easier to find scoring forwards, just get one of those instead.
