The further North in Florida you go, the further South you get.Technically, anything North of St. Pete is in Georgia Alabama.

Pedro Martinez played there for a bitI'm not a baseball fan, but I remember Vlad.
To be fair, February is the shortest month. So the Oilers have 0 regulation win in the month of February...

Yeah something just doesn't feel the same ......I pretty much agree.....Why cheer for Utah? When the Expos moved I had no interest in them anymore.
Based on the laugh reacts, apparently, it's all on Skinner. If they had Hasek in net, they'd have the cup by January.I know... couldn't they have waited until the end of April![]()

There were 2 problems. English people left the province and the league wasn't going to let a Canadian team win. They locked out the players for the year because they knew no one could beat the Expos. .To be fair, no one cared about the expos even before they moved
Being an usher might be better, My mother's cousin was an usher at Maple Leaf gardens for it's last 40 years. He knew a lot of the players.I actually applied for a job as a Zamboni driver at the local ice rink once. The pay actually kind of sucked, and when you're not cutting the ice between sessions, you're basically the ice rink's janitor. It's not a glamorous job by any means, though I suppose if you drive one for an NHL team you get into the arena for free. In hindsight it's probably a good thing I didn't get the job, since I ended up getting into refereeing instead in order to be involved in hockey and make money while doing it. The pay's not great for that either unless you get really far with it (which I didn't) but it's also not bad in terms of "per hour" pay, if you prefer to think about it that way.
Do you get paid by the penalty called? Sorry I had to say itI ended up getting into refereeing instead in order to be involved in hockey and make money while doing it.
