Oilers couldn’t out score their problems last night. I saw the first three Bolts goals. None of them were on Skinner.

Have I told you I miss Logan Thompson
I went to bed after the first period of the Utah game last night. I was tired and we played an absolutely dreadful first period. Came back to win 2-1 with shot attempts being 93-39 and I missed it. Could have stayed up to watch the rest of the game though, since I didn't manage to actually fall asleep until about 1:30 or so.

I have the complete opposite problem at my advanced age of 35... I struggle to stay awake most the time.
I'm pretty much tired all the time, despite often consuming large amounts of caffeine. I'd probably do a lot better for myself if I drastically reduced my caffeine intake, which would likely result in me sleeping much better at night and being more alert during the day. Instead I take a lot of naps, since I'm retired and rarely have somewhere to be on any given day for more than just a couple hours at a time. That doesn't help my ability to sleep at night either.

...yeah, retirement doesn't help with the caffeine intake...I drank a lot of coffee while i was still working, but DAMN I drink a lot now, like 3 pots a day easily...one of the many reasons I don't sleep much...

I actually sleep a lot these days when you add up all the odd naps I take during the day. Just so happens that not a lot of it is at night anymore.
On a note back to the NHL games today, here is my in-depth analysis on who I think will win each matchup. By in-depth I mean that I don't actually watch any of the six teams unless they're playing against Utah or Tampa Bay, so it's not much of an in-depth analysis actually. Or in-depth at all.
Ottawa Senators vs. Winnipeg Jets
Ottawa will win this one. Winnipeg has a lot of scoring options, as well as one of the best goaltenders in the league (if not the best). However, I'm predicting a big game from Linus Ullmark and Brady Tkachuk. All other factors will more or less even themselves out. I like how Jake Sanderson matches up against Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor, so I think he's up to the task of shutting them down. Tim Stützle also looks poised to have a good game, so perhaps he'll assist on two goals by Brady. Also, while senators fly around in jets a lot, they're the ones truly in control of that scenario.
Colorado Avalanche vs. New Jersey Devils
Colorado wins and while it'll be a close game on the final score sheet, say a final score of 3-2, the Avalanche will dominate for most of the game in terms of various things like shot attempts and attacking zone time. Whether Blackwood or Wedgewood starts, they won't exactly have to do much, and will get the job done in net, which will be enough for Colorado's skaters to run rampant. New Jersey's goaltending will be able to hold the fort against the flurry of Avalanche attacks, but in the end it won't be enough. After all, not much can stand in the way of an avalanche and get out of it alive, and this includes devils.
Los Angeles Kings vs. Vancouver Canucks
Vancouver wins this one in a shocking blowout. Elias Petterson will prove all the haters wrong and finally turn the corner. Quinn Hughes will also have a monster game, with at minimum two primary assists on the night. Adrian Kempe crashes into the goalie by accident twice, but it amounts to nothing, and won't get called for a penalty either time. Drew Doughty notches an assist on LA's lone goal, which will be scored by Anze Kopitar. Also, while it is true that Canucks have a king currently, the true power lies in the people.
