im actually extremely relieved the streak is over. It was a lot of pressure and tonight was a great game
What takes the sting out, and I'm sorry Vegas, is Edmonton should have won this gamd

They should have had 3/4 goals going into the third

Add hill stoning them on top

This was probably one of skimmers easiest nights during this streak.

That's why streaks like this are so impressive. You need to have a couple of games that you get outplayed and pull out a win, it's just hard to do in the NHL.

oilers looked pretty questionable for a "hot" team

whoever lost to them in the past 16 games (or at any point this season) should be ashamed of themselves

Isn't that obvious? Vegas wasn't even icing a playoff roster tonight due to injuries

4-10 against teams in the Top 10. They also have a losing record against playoff teams in general
You taking about Edmonton? I'm not looking at their first 12sh games.

I'm not lookong at Vancouver as a contender either. Only outlier in the top five ten

Oil have been great against top teams baby

We can't all have shooting luck 99% of the time bud

predictable out come.

edm fans got so defensive whenever anyone questioned the strength of opponents during their winning streak.

this is the first time they faced a legit cup contender lol.

Vancouver - Mt. Pleasant
Feel bad for McDavid. Not lots to celebrate for him.

Oilers have played the fewest games in the league, so they have the most condensed schedule in the league coming up, and that makes a difference as far as night in night out performance goes. Likely to be more of an above average rate(about .600) for the Oilers from here on out. They will likely finish 3rd in the division and face Vegas.

Even after this huge win streak, you somehow still wonder about the Oilers scoring depth in the play-offs.
