Obviously will have to wait to see how things pan out for Vancouver the rest of the season and MAYBE into the playoffs if they get there, but seems to me, they are quite energized with their new players.

Yea, some gelling and chemistry building still has to go on, but, honestly, this doesn't look like the complete "NY Ranger Win" in the JT Miller trade, that many made it out to be.
Wasn’t a slam dunk for the Rangers, seemed like a fairly even trade. Chytil, O’Connor and Pettersson is a good return for Miller

Avs really got their cup in at the right time.

Goes to show how small windows of contention really are in the NHL, that's a team that needs some retooling to make another run.

Oh, I agree.
But seems many were slanting everything the Rangers' way.
Granted, player for player, JT is the best player in that multi player deal, but as a whole, as a group, and more importantly, how the team FUNCTIONS moving forward?

Yea...the Canucks seem just fine.
And Chytil, and the addition of Marcus Pettersson (and if Hronek can get back to how well he played most of last season)...all those things could leave the Canucks with the last laugh on their competition.

Miller is by far the best player and have no ill will towards him, Vancouver just had too many holes to fill and the trade helped fill them.

seems like a win-win, NYR got the better player but Van got some useful pieces, and it looks like a dark cloud’s been lifted off the group collectively
