Iceland II the hotter crappier version.
It's a different month than yesterday.

9 games, 6 start at the same time.

Absolute f***ing genius.
I don’t get why people refuse to grasp the fact that the start times (for the most part) are set by the individual teams that work best for their locale.
(for instance) I imagine fans of a team in the Central time zone are absolutely thrilled when their home game doesn’t start until 830 to accommodate national tv.
It is what it is, and it’s not going to change.

It was bad enough when I was a Coyotes season ticket holder and we had occasional 8:00 p.m. starts on a weeknight to accommodate national television. I also lived 29 miles away from the arena, and didn't get home from said games until midnight or later.

You can't grow the game if you don't let people watch.

It's not hard to do a poll and even have games start 15 minutes sooner. 6:45 start times and actually start at that time.

The games are at 7 and because of anthems and people just generally being slow games don't start until closer to 7:15.

It's a Saturday, so having a game start at 5 let's say on a Saturday is an alternative to 7, so instead of going to out for dinner before the game, you go after and have a bit of a late supper.

Saturday you should be able to spread the games out better.

Your response is 100% valid for the rest of the week, but not a Saturday.

The NHL and taking the laziest f***ing approach to anything is front and centre yet again

Have you considered that maybe NHL could, you know, try to get people from regions other than the city the team is based in to watch that team's matches?

There are plenty of people who want to watch a sport in general, not only follow one team.

Crazy thought, isn't it?

Yes I have, you know, considered it.
It will be predominantly decided by what works best for tix sales in each local market.

I almost added a sentence to my comment about Saturdays being a time when they could spread start times out more. I won’t argue with that stance.
