He's actually a pretty good middle weight fighter. Tom Wilson is just an animal though
It's difficult to line match against Sid and Malkin. Teams can just stack against Sid as Sutter isn't dynamic enough to worry about offensively.
Not saying this game would be any different right now even if Malkin were playing though. The Caps handled the Pens in Pittsburgh the last time these teams met and the Pens are slumping bad right now.
I thought he was this undiscovered mid tier heavyweight to protect the stars, but it seems he loses a lot of fights and can't play.
I guess it's one of those things where the coach likes a player but no one understands why.

Not interested in learning more about the game of hockey? He's one of the most knowledgeable guys in the business and does a great job sharing that wealth of knowledge. I don't understand how people don't appreciate his colour commentary. It's a joy to listen to.
I agree, but his greatest pitfall is that he mentions the same things over and over and over again in the same game. Say it once, move on.

Yeah once he gets a thought or an observation in his head he does beat it to death. And his love for Crosby is a bit out of control.
I like Pierre, but there are times where he just goes off on a single subject or issue and just never lets go of it, which can be annoying. Tonight, for example, he is just talking too much about how Washington has last change and their shutdown line. It's fine to mention every now and then but enough already lol
