I don’t think green works well as a primary jersey color unless it’s dark/forest green and paired with muted colors.

He's not a non-NHLer. He's a good player and worth the addition as he checks a lot of boxes for the Leafs.
He adds to the PK and can allow for less time on the PK for Marner, or Matthews.
Physical and can be a regular and play up the lineup. He isn't a barely who's barely a 4th liner/13th forward who you play to be physical.
He's got the skill to score/set up plays.
