GDT: HFBoards 3/17/2025 | At least it's St Patricks' Day.

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Ice warrior Ryan McDonagh playing career game #995 tonight for the Lightning, who are hosting the Flyers tonight.

And not just 995 games, but 995 HARD games, given his playstyle, who he is generally asked to cover on a game to game basis, all the shot blocking he does, and all the forechecking he endures in corners retrieving the puck for his teams.

Very impressive run of games.
5 more till the 1000 milestone, and I'd put that up with any forwards' 1000 NHL games put in.

Good to see Laughton back in the lineup.....

I don't care if anyone laughs at this but i actually don't mind Laughton....He's willing to engage and play with some passion........

He's not a non-NHLer. He's a good player and worth the addition as he checks a lot of boxes for the Leafs.

He adds to the PK and can allow for less time on the PK for Marner, or Matthews.

Physical and can be a regular and play up the lineup. He isn't a barely who's barely a 4th liner/13th forward who you play to be physical.

He's got the skill to score/set up plays.

Comes with term.
