Apex Predator debuting out of nowhere and getting Flair outside the top ten. Not bad at all.
That's the kind of thing that someone could try. There was a very similar main event done once involving one of those guys and a big time WWE "face of the company" type. People throw a lot of different things at the wall. We try to avoid mentioning undrafted wrestlers in the discussion thread though.

I'm definitely here and game. Combo of a manic work week and thinking this draft would take a lot longer is my issue. I'll save the site on my phone now I know it's a bit quicker. No Dingo incidents in at least a month here

Keep in mind, everyone, that past matches are frowned upon so be sure to check previous years' drafts and make sure you ain't copying someone else's work.

I agree for the most part but I believe that every card is different.
My all time favourite wrestler is The Undertaker. In my opinion Sting is his biggest dream match up that never happened. I drafted both of those wrestlers in the first and second round this year. I know that the matchup has been done a few years ago in this draft but now I get the opportunity to create it for myself.

There isn't any set criteria for voting. I'd rather see matches that haven't been done before, but that's only my criteria. I wouldn't expect someone doing the draft for the first time to care what matches have already been done or to go and do homework on what matches had already been booked.

Yeah I agree. Repeat matches are a red flag for me but not a deal breaker. Things can be made better than they've been done before.

To add to this, sometimes people just put a match up with no context given. Which is their right to do even if I find it lazy after spending a month drafting wrestlers. If someone did that and then someone comes along and has the same wrestlers in a match that is creative or different, that goes a long way as well.
So yes, I'm waiting to see what Habsrule puts down. If there is nothing added I will just assume that he went with the most predictable Undertaker vs Sting match that we've all discussed over the years - American Badass vs Surfer Sting.

I couldn’t tell you for sure that a match has ever been done more than once before, I’d probably need it pointed out to me and I don’t mind if someone does a match I’ve done before. As long as no one is copying each other just to copy it. But that’s a reason it’s helpful to lay out the creative behind it.

There have been 100+ cards in drafts that I've been in and that is the angle that I am most envious of. Simple but effective.

I like the Kobashi pick. Works in a match against pretty much anyone as a great, badass face.
