HF-NYR Fantasy Keeper League - Discussion Thread Part I (Waiting List Open!!)

Guys, this is why I said to wait until I send out the pm's because some people are listing themselves as the wrong team. Check the first post to see which team I have you so we can avoid confusion later on.

I am going to allow for everyone to have about a 1 week trading period before we input rosters into the simulator. To get caught up in a hurry we will probably use this season kind of as a beta season and we will sim in 2 month blocks to allow us to catch up to the NHL. Next season we will commence regular simulating.

We will be taking offers on Marian Gaborik, but unlike real life he doesn't suck in the game. We don't necessarily have to move him but we want to see what we can get back.

Other than that we may be just looking to add rental pieces.

Remember also that we only have 1 pick to start each round. So the Rangers don't have 3 second round picks or whatever it is. 1 pick per round for each team to begin with, just like last time.

In terms of trades? Consider today as Day 0, so what you're roster is today will be wha everyone begins with. Therefore, Anaheim has Perry and Getzlaf signed, Pit has Morrow and Murray. But the picks are still going to remain 1 per round just so that it can be easy for me to manage at the beginning. I know that hurts some teams but it's just one of the things that we'll have to deal with for right now.
 
Tampa looking to recharge and look towards the future. Stamkos is off the table, and Hedman would require serious overpayment, but everyone else is on the table.

Lecavalier and St Louis are up for grabs - but are you willing to pay the price?

Need a long term scoring touch? Purcell, Malone - all on the table.

Brewer, Salo and Ohlund are all also very much up for grabs. Veteran defensemen help in your playoff pushes.
