I do have 4 people currently waiting in my inbox but if I don't get the responses I'm waiting for by tomorrow I will hand out the last couple spots.
 
I apologize. I don't want to make it seem like I'm not doing anything here. The issue is that even if all the people in my inbox gets a team we'd still be missing one GM. Therefore I can't move forward with the fame until the last few spots are filled.

Which works perfectly for me, as I'm still stuck in BFN for the rest of the week. But I did get to experience my first 'real' blizzard (or so I was told). Hopefully back to civilization this weekend!
 
Come on guys. I still have at least 1-2 spots on. We have a great group of GM's here. Please sign up so we can get this thing going!!
 
Hey guys just a brief update:

I'm going to work to figure this thing out shortly and we will hopefully get this going by next week. Sorry for the delay. We have quality GM's already in place and I want to ensure the last couple are of the same quality.
 
Quick update. I have putt he people that were in my inbox into place. Only CGY remains.

Kershaw will also be retuning as the in season player agent to resign players.

Only Calgary remains so I'm working on trying to fill that spot up. Once it is filled I will send out a pm to everyone so that they know we're underway. There will be a short trading period and then we are going to do an expected simulation. We will quick sim up to about this point in a full season and go from there.
 
Sweet! Excited to get going. Do you have someone in mind for Calgary? Or do you want me to do some asking around? I'm sure I can find someone to fill the spot.

It's ultimately up to RKY but usually NTC and Modified No Trades etc are all lumped into one category meaning you would need to talk to the player agent and discuss what the chances of that player wanting to waive for your team are. You can send a nice email asking him to waive to play for you and maybe point out that you will give him more ice time/PP minutes/a yacht/ whatever...then it's up to the player agent to decide.

In some cases maybe the player agent writes a list of teams that player will or won't go to or whatever. Just so that there is a slight chance you can get the player and also makes it more fun and realistic. But like i said, It's up to RKY what he wants to do that's just how it was last game.

Basically what KD said. I may allow Kershaw (as the player agent) to decide if a player will waive to a certain team and I will have the final say. Logically, it would make more sense to run it by the agent first and by the commissioner for the ultimate decision.

Both deputy commissioner spots have been filled, we have a player agent for in season negotiating, we are just waiting for one more person.

I just want to hold off on that for a bit because I still. Red to send out a mass pm to let everyone know when we get underway. I will try to throw up the roster thread (and hopefully get this thing going) by this weekend since all the pieces are in place.
