HF Devils official 2024 Tickets and Prudential Center thread

Red Bull Arena(Sports Illustrated Stadium now) put a new security system in for this season and it's absolutely amazing. You don't have to take anything out of your pockets, just walk on through like the old days pre 9/11. Really hope we get this system at Prudential soon...

I’ve experienced this system at a number of venues and it’s awesome. As you said, you just walk right through. And it’s desperately needed at Prudential Center. The lines to get in are atrocious, and it’s a brutal experience when the weather sucks or it’s a sellout game.

Though I still think mobile ticketing will be a bottleneck post-security. I see so many people clogging up the lines to pull up tickets and get themselves and their group scanned in. That’s one area where paper tickets were superior.

Ticket wise I miss what the Red Bulls use to do for season ticket holders, we use to have a card that looked like a credit card with your seat info on it. You would just place it under the ticket machine and it would turn the light from red to green. It made the process so quick.

Scanning the tickets also backs up the lines at Prudential because there's no room whatsoever once you're inside. Like look at UBS, there's so much room once you get inside the door that it doesn't make the ticket lines seem as bad. I also think they have security outside from what I remember so if we had the Red Bulls security system setup outside of Prudential and then an actual ticket taker a bit inside each individual door the flow of traffic to get inside would be so much better.

Instead we have several security lines that funnel into smaller amounts of ticket takers so it causes a cluster.

These types of symptoms are becoming more common than not. Broadway houses, Disney, Ballparks like ORacle Park in SF, and many Arenas use these. We're behind there.
