I'm surprised, but I'm not surprised. I had a feeling Zajac was gonna be a beast this year. I thought Palms was the PERFECT linemate for him. I also thought Henrique was due for a breakout offensive year.

Good call on the Stars goal. I could see calling it off if Lack wasn't already out of the crease before the contact. Then he sat there after the contact and didn't attempt to make any save. Hopefully people can tell the difference between a situation like this and some guy without the puck shoving his ass in the goalie's face while standing in the blue paint.

Yeah, I agree. I'm just hoping a thread doesn't pop up on this one. Goalie interference is for when a goalie isn't allowed to play his position. They can't complain if they slide out of their net into the skater's path and get hit despite the skater's efforts to avoid.

IMO, the fact that the star that made contact with his was the puck carrier, at the time, is why it was held up.

The Stars are my team but I'd have felt the same way if it was Lehtonen. Personally I've agreed with pretty much all of the coach's challenge results so far. Some people might not like calling it strictly by the rulebook but I like it. Kind of telling that so many of these goals called off for GI are controversial to people when they're the textbook definition of GI. Says a lot about how much GI has been allowed in the past few years which made people adjust their interpretation of it.

Lack has been very good outside of that one play tonight though.
