Yeah except you can’t see the numbers because they blend in with the background lol. I have no idea what page we’re on. All I see is the “prev” button.

You must not be using dark mode? I can see them fine, as you can see here.

However, as @Pokecheque said, there are other things at the top of the page that are dark, on a dark background that I cannot see, like the search button.

Weird. Maybe it's the browser? I have a Samsung phone, and use Samsung browser. IDK. Really strange.

On mobile, now starting to get random page refreshes that move where you were in the thread so you have to relocate the last post you were reading. This was gone for a long time even prior to the update but is now back. Not sure if it is now but used to remove the text you were typing as well. Very annoying.

Edit: just realized that it no longer opens threads to your last read post and have to go searching for where you last left off again as well… that is very unfortunate and was the single best thing about the update.

One thing I have learned about the text deleting itself when you tab away from HFBoards: if you reload the page, the text comes back. It apparently saves where you were.

Your red looks pink to me. I've got the same look as Eddie.

Edit: now every image posted looks pink.

I don't know if this is a known issue or if anyone mentioned it, but on a computer (Firefox browser) when I click on any of the forum links below the last comment and reply box, like Central Division or Western Conference, I get a new tab with ad junk in it. The same links at the very top of the page work.

Anyone else getting terrible scrolling lately? I think the page up / down buttons are loading at every scrolling and stopping the page from continuing to travel. Seems to be mostly team forum pages.

For anyone still needing a heritage lesson

The Turkey Girl thread was the funniest thing I've ever seen on the internet. Unfortunately most of it's been lost. Maybe I saw it at a time when I really needed it. I had just learned that my best friend was moving across the country (and although I was happy for the opportunity he and his now-wife got, selfishly, I couldn't help but feel sad).

Back to the funny stuff - I was able to dig up some of it a few years ago. Quoting myself:

Here's how the "Olli Jokinen / Turkey Girl" thread worked

First, in March 2009, a user named Risiko (no longer on HFBoards) posted this picture in The Lounge. He said it was from a local newspaper (I think the original image was slightly different, but this is as close as I can find):

Then StrangeVision posted this image of Olli Jokinen squaring off against Ryan Kesler. I'm not sure why he posted it in that thread, but there was no turning back:

A user named portal333 said "Someone needs to photoshop it so Jokinen is in place of the turkey. I would if I had the skeels, but I do not". Fortunately, Joseppi did, in fact, have the requisite skeels, and we got this monstrosity:

A user named FutureFF posted the following image, saying "i like this more". Another person replied and (understandably) said that "Turkeyhead Jokinen is going to give me nightmares":

From there, people posted a bunch of progressively hilarious and weird images, often combining them with whatever memes were popular (yes, memes existed in 2009).

A few of my favourites (from Thrasher, FatStoner, MikeyMike01, LaVal, and habs425 respectively):

Regarding the last image (the Michael Phelps meme), someone said "This is the winner in a thread full of win".

The thread went on for close to 40 pages (and unfortunately a lot of great images were lost). I don't know, maybe you had to be there... but for me, this was the funniest thread I've ever seen, on HFBoards or elsewhere. (One user said "my stomach hurts from laughing, keep it up!!!", and that describes it perfectly for me).

Is there anyway we could make threads that have new posts and are bolded more noticable? I appreciate that they are bolded, but the difference between the bolded and unbolded is really hard to notice.
