Quadruple Thumbs Up for @sethro109 whose method worked for me. I had no choices in the Preferences page other than Standard and Light. But his method worked for me. Windows 10 / Chrome, btw.

Thank you for restoring dark mode. Light mode was like waking up drunk to someone pulling the curtains open at 6am with two hours sleep.

I'm sure it will be fixed eventually, but yes, it looks like avatars are full size (but still smaller than before) in light mode, but even smaller circle avatars in dark mode.

The full size square is preferable IMO.

I'm still probably gonna remove angry, at least until we figure something else out though.

Dark will eventually look 1:1 as light, once design is done with dark mode which they are not yet. So i'm not fixing anything until then.

Yeah, I'll throw my two cents in, and second that, since Sniper is looking for feedback.

The angry face, you can't even tell it's Jokinen, or that he's angry. The wow face, you can't tell that it's a child to get the reference, or that they're shocked, or whatever that face is.

The previous ones were very clear what they were.

It's not great, but the blue user SniperHF few posts up has is even worse.

The notifications are back in the profile and not an available widget in the top right.

Page breaks are a blue color that I can barely see.

Probably a small thing but when I go to HFBoards.com there used to be subtitles under all the divisions and I could click into the avalanche board. Now I have to click into the division and then the avs board. Any possibility of bringing back those sub title team links to save button clicks?

On mobile, now starting to get random page refreshes that move where you were in the thread so you have to relocate the last post you were reading. This was gone for a long time even prior to the update but is now back. Not sure if it is now but used to remove the text you were typing as well. Very annoying.

Edit: just realized that it no longer opens threads to your last read post and have to go searching for where you last left off again as well… that is very unfortunate and was the single best thing about the update.

Can’t change pages on the top. On the bottom it only gives me the option to move next or previous. I think it says what number page we’re on but it’s the same color as the background so it’s impossible to see.

Random refreshing brings me back to something I read 3 minutes ago.

Okay I don’t like the lightning bolt. On mobile it moves the notifications bell over to the left and now requires two taps to access that. I’d rather it be the other way around because, well, I’m never going to use the lightning bolt.

Obviously nitpicky but you did ask for some feedback so there it is. Otherwise I have no complaints (except maybe just display the subforums instead of making them dropdown menus).

In dark mode on mobile the page numbers and controls on threads is dark blue against a dark gray background and that makes them almost totally illegible. Can we get that fixed?

FYI, If you click on the numbers, it will allow you to type in the number of the page you want to navigate to.

Yeah except you can’t see the numbers because they blend in with the background lol. I have no idea what page we’re on. All I see is the “prev” button.
