I will make a ruling shortly on sign ups as I have reached out to former GMs and wanted to give them a chance to sign up on the weekend.
But the people want what the people want.
Nice to see it fill up fast.

I’d prefer to start ASAP. April 23rd I go to Disney World for 8 nights with my wife and son. I have already made out a tentative list of wrestlers to pick. For me I’d like to get as much of the draft done by then as possible.

I am going to compromise. I do think waiting until April 9th is too long of a wait but I still want to give a chance to those GMs who may be interested and haven't signed up yet.

I will close sign-ups at 11pm AST tonight, and get the draft order out shortly after. Then we can discuss a start date whether that's Sunday, Monday or beyond. I'd like Saturday to be a day for people to strategize and get their ducks in a row.

I generally prefer as many GMs as possible but you have to be realistic with start times. We'll see if anyone pops up tonight and regarding AtlantaWhaler, someone has quit the draft basically every year for the past 6 or so drafts, so he may get a chance yet. Habsrule's reason is as good as any to get it started sooner than later.

Keep in mind next weekend is Passover and Easter. I mean, I don’t care, but that may affect how available people are.

16 is a nice clean bracket but may hurt card quality.

I’m just saying that if we stay at the 12 people that we have we could do four fatal way matchups for the first round.

I like more GMs because you may have to actually dig for wrestlers when 400 wrestlers have already been picked. In terms of the math for matchups there are plenty of ways once it gets down to that, but the draft itself is way more interesting than the voting results.
