Bears out of gas? Looks like few of them have much energy tonight. Sure, a weird bounce off the boards led to Cleveland's 3rd goal, but Shep and the boys don't seem to have that spark tonight.

You all think the Bears were gonna walk all over everybody to a 2nd straight Calder Cup? It's harder the 2nd year in a row, as they will have to face more adversity to reach it and win it again.

They call that bullshit slash and Gaunce has taken two obvious uncalled penalties since. So inconsistent. He climbed on Snively’s back on the rush and then hit Sutter when the puck was no where near him

In all honesty we should be glad it wasn't a 4 to 1 series loss. Only game they really outplayed Cleveland was game 3. They got lucky that Cleveland didn't take one or both of the OT games. Interesting to see how they respond. If Dube can't go, try Rybinski in the Dube spot and put Strome on the 4th or something. Just don't put Phillips out there because he very clearly is just here because he has to be.

I also don't see either of these teams beating CV after watching parts of a few of their games recently.

I'd say they were the better team in game 1 outside of the collapse the last two minutes. That game should've never even gone to overtime. The Hartford series is really the only one they had any sustained control the whole time. They were heavily outplayed in games 2 and 3 against the Phantoms too (even though 2 was a 5-1 win).

I would just like to see them match Cleveland's intensity. Making consecutive deep runs is undoubtedly taxing, but Cleveland's playing hungry and Hershey's playing like it's Senior Skate Night at the local rink. Be it off the rush or physically, they're kind of just letting the Monsters come at them. I'm a skill guy all the way but I really wish this team had a little more sandpaper on it right now. The fourth line was great the first two rounds. I'd love to see a couple Mo and Malenstyn-esque performances tomorrow night... from anyone.

AHL having the playoff series 2-3-2 makes it pretty hard for the favored teams to close these series out in 4 or 5 on the road. They got 2 more shots with the bears fans rooting them on now. LFG

Also isnt our D pretty banged up right now?

The team in general. Shep had an off night. I'm hoping he can bring back that MVP like play back in Game 6!

That's dependent on distance due to the AHL's lower travel budgets. I think 300 miles is the threshold. Last year's ECF against Rochester was the traditional 2-2-1-1-1 because the two cities were close enough to manage it.

It was never supposed to be easy. Frankly i don’t mind a little adversity.

I’d play Trineyev at 2RW (if Dube can’t go). Rybinski at 4RW and Strome at 4LW. Sutter in middle. but i agree that we should get Phillips out.
