Me too. I have boxed wine and... I think some vodka left right now. Dunno if I want to start the habit so early in the season - last year was... rough.

Yeah, I'm trying to develop better habits this year, but the combination of the Habs giving up short handed goals, boredom, and this forum are making me tempted to get the vodka out..

If not for Price's big saves it'd be 5 or 6-2 right now. Seriously, guys? No big saves...
I agree with the big saves.

I do not agree with the score cause we could say the same about Reimer. ;)

Both goalies have been pretty good though. Lots of crazy bounces tonight and they'v both been on their games.

Nobody has replied. How was the Parros fight ?

Exciting. Only annoying thing is it happened off a scrum where Orr skated right at Parros and immediately threw a right. Took Parros a bit to recover and get steady but he was never in danger of losing. He is ****ing big, round 2 should be interesting. I can't imagine too many guys in the league will want to mess with this team when Parros is on the bench, he's going to make Prust and whichever one of Moen/White is in the lineup feel bigger too.

We finished 2nd last year. Overeacting a bit?

First of all, I was referring to my excessive alcoholism and GDT shenanigans. Second of all, we ended the season in terrible form and got embarrassed in the playoffs. Third of all, I'm gonna go get a drink.

cheers.

It's true that Price has been good until that breakaway goal... But at the end of the day, that's the goal that puts the Leafs in the lead. That's the goal that just nullified all of the work the Habs put into this game up to this point. That's the goal that could make us lose two points.

I want to see Price succeed and live up to his contract, but at some point, we need to stop excusing his mistakes and glorifying his nice saves. He needs to become consistent.

How about we say at some point our team needs to stop giving up golden chances? Seriously, the Leafs have had 9-10 prime scoring chances tonight and we only focus on the one that goes in. Blame the team.

I feel the same with guys like Diaz and Desharnais and even guys Bouillon. Then again, I do it to Moen and he's not as bad as I make him out to be.

Althoguh, two of them really do deserve that hate tonight.

Price is the reason it's only a one-goal game. I find myself more and more surprised by what I read here every day, even if I've been reading this board for years. Wow.

On another note, we can't hope to win while our first 2 lines are doing **** all. Especially since we're facing a hot goalie like Reimer.
