Post-Game Talk: Hellebuyck and the Paper Jets beat leafs 4-3

If it wasn't our third loss in a row it would just be chalked up to us losing a game we should have won, but when you are on a losing streak you have to answer for crap play (Andersen)

It's crazy how much better the Leafs are than the Jets, and yet the gap between Hellebuyck and Andersen is even bigger

The Jets are a Helle injury away from being Ottawa-esque.

Next game aim for the twine, not the pads.

We didn't have much heat on the shots either. Just one of those games. The goals against were regrettable.

Frustrating loss, but I thought we showed good push back.

Looking for better defensive plays from Rielly and some smarter decisions by Marner who didn't make a good decision on that final shot and didn't read the GWG. Good news is he found a ton of chances in the third.

<Andersen played aaaight dawg. But where the F is our tender Campbell???! No? Stay healthy, for a while sucka. You are a good goalie, so why not play ice hockey? Fool. Take that muthaF.

I mean it’s hard not to get worried with 3 in a row lost.

That said, if this wasn’t the third loss in a row we’d all just tip our hats to Helly and write this one off as good goaltending / not enough puck luck.
The skaters - I'm not worried whatsoever, we generate HDSC's better than any team in the league.

Our goalie situation? Will 100% keep costing us unless it gets addressed. Dubie had a fantastic offseason, but his wart was not addressing this.

At least our losses this year haven't been blowouts like we used to have a lot of with babs behind the bench. Most losses are on shaky goaltending and Andersen usually the culprit
