I don’t suppose mourning the loss of a dog a year after his death won’t get me a medal if mental health was an oly sport eh
I use humour as a way to deal with the scaries
Stop judging
Revere Beach looks great.
When people just stick their finger in the wind versus knowing what it should be about. At Galentines, we just sang O Canada for my friends cake instead of Happy Birthday. Her family is from PEI.
Sadly I was the only non-Canadian that knew the words. Embarrassing!

I love chocolate and mint. I got someOur household has covid for the first time, we are fully vaccinated and hubby and daughter seem to be on the mend, I got it last.
My other daughter dropped of a care package on the porch with a Squishmallow Cow and lots of chocolate, including my favourite Peppermint Bubbles. When I was a kid, a Peppermint Aero was my medicine, my Mom always went out for some when I was sick. I don't buy Nestle for ethical reasons, so these made my day because it is an extra special treat and my daughter remembered the story. View attachment 981048
Happy birthday Carolyn!
Your family’s eyes are a defining quality eh?
Thanks for posting this...Fun read!As I toddle off to bed, a note to inform that I met and talked with Rick Middleton tonight at the Pro Shop.
Making his way toward the exit with family and friends, I interrupted my ongoing conversation with apologies. I just had to tell #16 how much I enjoyed his analysis on NESN over the years.
I told him, sincerely, that it was an honor to meet him.
Nifty was gracious.
I informed that I missed his best years here in Boston (as I was in Detroit at the time), and we briefly discussed his trade from NY, our shared admiration for Gordie and, particularly, Ted Lindsay.
(Rick is well aware of Lindsay's banishment to the then cellar dwelling Black Hawks -- along with another future HHOFer, Glen ["Barf Bag"] Hull -- as petty punishment for Ted's attempt to start a "players association," what we know today as the NHLPA.)
Good, strong handshake.
Hope to see him again.
(Marchand's family made a quick in & out, but I wasn't around.)
Oh, the celebrity sightings.
Will they never stop?
I really enjoyed meeting him. The one hockey person I want to meet more than any other is, of course, Big Z.Thanks for posting this...Fun read!
I don't know why either Big Z or Bergy would want those jobs. They are thankless and it wouldn't be long before SOME Bs "fans" would be shitting on them too.I really enjoyed meeting him. The one hockey person I want to meet more than any other is, of course, Big Z.
I hope to call him by his proper title, General Manager of the Boston Bruins, real soon.
Patrice 4 Prez.
