I'm at my parents place for dinner tonight.

More then usual, I want a blow out win, so I don't have to hear about how wokeness ruined Vancouver hockey (posters note: ????).

Just win, and if Pettersson doesn't put up 5 points, trade him for a literal lead weight.

Which one?

Phewwww, I feel a bit out of the loop, had to miss last night's game and I'm trying to catch up on any Canucks news I can.

Here's hoping we can string a few wins together in this critical 4 game stretch.

Also my wife and I are finalizing the details on purchasing our first house, so thats been a wild trip, wish us luck lol

Got the rust off last night. Hope Myers has settled down and plays a normal game.
We kept it close enough to win last night, without Hughes, against a better team in a tough arena.

Tonight should be a good test. Utah kept it close in LA last night and they never quit. Get streaking, DeBrusk!

Play like we did in the 3rd for 60 minutes, we likely win this game. Unless we get goalied (ours or theirs).

Really looking forward to the Garland vs Guenther comp this game. Should be fun.

I'm all for rotating guys in on back to backs. Went with the low hanging fruit at forward, but that's fine.

Other than an injury or trade we don’t know about, noteworthy that Soucy is out and DPetey stays in. Willing to play 2 rookies, when I didn't think Soucy played terrible that he was an obvious scratch. Curious what that means for DPetey and Dwilly being in the same lineup this spring and/or next fall.

Silovs is the wildcard. Canucks can't get out-shot and out-chanced like they were last night, or it could be a long evening.

Watching some of Silovs games in Abbotsford this season, he still has problems with rebound-control and picking up pucks through trafffic.

I suspect Utah will be directing a lot of long-shots on goal from the point, and then go hunting for rebounds.

Is it going to be an EP25-Mancini pairing, or will Tocchet split them up? Soucy must be done here or close to it.

I'd rather see Lekkerimaki in, if he's healthy, over Bains.

Gonna guess we’ll see DPetey-Hronek, and Forbort-Mancini. EP25 was getting shifts with Hronek yesterday and looked good.

Couple of rib eyes for the game. Might do steak bites with horse radish dip. Undecided.

Might make some chicken as a side. Lol

I thought Forbort was terrible yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the new guy.
Canucks were trying to use Soucy on his off-side with D-Petey. Experiment lasted basically two games. Like a lot of NHL coaches, Tocchet likes his right and let shooting d-pairings. So wouldn't be surprise if Mancini see his first action as a Canuck tonight.
