You cannotvmean Jones was physically sick tonight but played anyway and that explains why he stunk...did not speed ...did not see hustle..did not see compete.. dodvnotcsee difference-makibg except negative stuff from him..Moving lijecacturtle...not inspiring the team...so surely he mist be sock OR he is just sickening!

If we give Jones a few more mulligans to get back in shape...actually move his feet.. actualky finish checks (I my critique of him since he got back I think I said I would give him8 more games to shape up and pkay harder...but after this insipid display tonoght it is hard to wait to pile on him..So disappointed ...but hexdoesxwell what he does well..that is lead the Tank ..

With Bridie you cannotvexpect more..he is what he is..with Jones for $9.5 you expect a lot better.but he cones back in and the goals start filling OUR net again..bad karna and a fallfrom that moni win streak ...bad stuff happens when Jones put there so many shifts.. I feel the Hawks sense doom will hapoen..and of course itvDORS manifest .

So OIlIpredicted when Jones got back in that the Tank was assured..

It certainly looks like I am being shown to be prophetic.

When Jones got on the ice in practice before tgey re-inserted him and sent Kaiser down,Sorenson said Jones looked good...well tonight he certainly failed the looks Goodland played good tests..

All of

Bertuzzi

Looked like trash under Richardson and suddenly look like quality NHLers again under Sorenson. Hard to believe it's a coincidence. Not to speak of younger guys like Bedard, Allan, and Korchinski
If you looked at the gf/ga earlier in the season the Hawks were doing less with marginally better gf/ga than the other bottom dwellers. Was that puck luck, a statistical aberration, bad coaching? After acclimation to the new coach, will the Hawks lose at the same rate but with more scoring? The roster isn't very good and has some players occupying important slots that are net negatives when all is said and done.

What would a Brodie buyout look like?

I get so hung up on the second year part I always forget he somehow receives 4.2M each year. JFC Kyle.

So Hawks lose 2 straight with $9.5 back... Giving up 10 goals (2en) ..still tge D gone to hell with old Seth back on the jobwoth his kisrr Karna infesting the club.

Butvof course thecrist excuse So he gets a 10 game set of mulkigansbefor we finally cal hom for what he is...a lousy non-positive gane influencing dnan...tgat iscto say a negative force of epic effect.

Tgerevisualkycarex2vor 3 key Seth "events" that endvto back of our net and very dew Seth events ending up in back of their net...just calling it like it actualky plays out ..
To think...5 more seasons after thisvonexwith Mr.Dark Cloud hanging over the team...

Epic negative force impeding progress of the team...The perfect Tank Commandr "leading" by example how not to do it.

Butwe will.mulligan hom ladt night...right?

The rust excuse...Not yet back in shape?

Or the hecwas sick excuse?

Andrrs needs to have a talk with him..but conebonAnders you told us Seth looked good in practice...If ladt night was good,I do not know what good means anymore.
Tge $9.5 albatross strikes again to doom this team.

he makes 3.75 per year as a AAV. still not good. but its not a issue cap wise even if we go after a big UFA we still have plenty of room. hall AA martinez donato (kurashev probably) and $3 mil in cap space. thats 20 mil coming off the books next year and we had $3-4 mil space this year and the cap goes up by 3-4 mil. the only notable player that needs a raise is ARVID probably. and not alot. then the next year we have foligno, dickenson, ILLY M, brodie, murphy, mzarek brossett all coming off about another $28K has KD made mistakes but we are in good pace cap wise.

I'm no fan of Brodie but it's pretty obvious that Hawks value experience on the blue line... and do not want to throw their young dman to the wolves, especially not at the same time. Crevier, Kaiser and to a lesser extent Korchinski are young, raw and inconsistent.

KD is not likely to admit it was a bad signing - don't be surprised if Brodie remains in the mix until his contract expires.

No shot he's with the Hawks next season.

You're right that he may play the remainder of this season with them.

But he's 100% getting replaced by a UFA signing in the summer.

I like having guys like Nazar and Korchinski with skill that can skate and it is going to play dividends over the long run. The more of this type that can be added to the lineup the better.
