News Article: Hawks to create in-stadium hall of fame.

I'll just say this: if Toews, Kane, Keith and Seabrook don't end up with banners in the rafters, it will be an absolute travesty.

I expect some will disagree.

There's probably like single digit people in the world that would disagree with any of the first three names. Two of them do happen to post here though lol.

Seabrook should have his number retired if Hossa does. Then you have a Sharp/Hjalmarsson/Crawford tier of guys who don't quite get in.

All those guys are hall of famers. Seabrook is not.

He played over 1k games which qualifies him. Hossa definitely had the better career but a good chunk of it was on other teams. The Hawks released their standards going forward for jersey retirement when they announced Chelios' jersey retirement.

I think Seabrook will only get retired because they can do a dual retirement of #7

If Chelios didn't wear #7, I don't think Seabrook gets #7 retired

I know this gives Tab Bamford an erection, but I sincerely hope that nobody votes in this thing. 100 years is 100 years or whatever but I hate it when teams who are not winning add focus on the past to take attention away from the fact that they're not winning.

If you're a HoFer and spent a majority of your time as a Hawk while winning mulitple Cups then I'm fine with the jersey retirement. Even after we retire #2, 19, and 88 then we'll still have 90 or so jersey numbers for people to choose from. I'm not worried about it.

HOPEFULLY we can add Bedard's #98 to that list in 20 years
