I am not sure I understand how this is a big emotional game.

Bedard is exciting but he is not a hometown kid, nor is his favourite team the Leafs.

Seems like a Monday night game early in the season against a team from another conference.

The Leafs however rarely are sharp in early week games

I am tired of people having career night after night against us. Obviously you're not going to win every game, but I want them to play their opponent hard. Every game. No matter the day of the week, month, etc lol.

Maybe, maybe not. I mean we're 2-0 and Matthews is the talk of the town but I haven't forgotten how poorly we played in game 1. But even if we'd have played like champs in both games, two games into the season is nothing and it won't be until the playoffs until we see if this is a different team or not. JMHO.
