The coach shouldn't be matching them against Barkov and the like

There are multiple things the front office needs to address

Calling up Nazar is one, firing Luke Richardson and replacing him with Monty is another

Every season for the last 5 seasons has been a tank season. Same with every other team in town. Fans are sick of it.

This. They need to show progress, I love the OHL and minor leagues but I'm sick of hearing about all the great prospects. I want some f*ing wins or at least for the team to be interesting. They suck AND they're boring.

The more we lose the better. We need Hagens/Martone. We can't risk going for an extra W here or there just so its costs us a top 2 pick. Rn there's zero point for us to try and be good/win games this season. People need to be patient and stop worrying about how bad the team is, how bad the coach is, etc. All will change in the coming years. As for now you should WANT us to be losing so we can secure the highest possible chance at drafting one of those elite young forwards who we DESPERATELY need.

They draw so few penalties because there are literally 0 net drives, no possession of the puck inside the dots because no one ever beats their man. With this team, do the gretzky and every time they establish the zone draw where the puck goes. It is stapled to the boards. Ring it around, nothing there, ring it back, dump, pass to the D, D can't get off the boards, rings it back around. Until possession is lost.

It's an epidemic. And I think it's because they value possession way too much. Yea Nazar might get poked or pushed off on a net drive most of the time, but he tries. Bedard used to try. Now he's too deep in his own head. But he will again someday. Craig Smith actually tries as well.

High draft picks are no guarantee of anything and you can improve in other ways too. You can make good moves and sign the right people as well. You can find a coach that isn't a moron and can get the best out of what he's got. This is an Original 6 team with a monster fan base that's getting frustrated.

They've won one playoff series in ten years - and have missed the playoffs in 6 of 7 years. Enough's enough. I still have a ton of family up there that spends a lot of money to go to the games and the fans are frustrated. People are sick of paying top dollar to watch crap.

I like to have a big backlog of games to dig through, instead of having to wait game by game at the start of the season.

Bedard last 35 GP (21 this seadon+last 14 lsdt season) = just 4 goals..

His slump of not beating goaliesxwith his shot is now close to half a season worth of games..

Terrible shoiting% in that span plus now 2 consecutive games with no shotsvon goal..

In OT yesterday vs.Flyers hehad a chance to winit ...free and clear ,no checkerboard hom...takes shotvand Misses the net!

How can the kid with the Generational shot keep failing so much on getting his shotvon netcand past goalies...nearly half a seasonaooroaching for this Geberational Slump!
