Rumor: Hawks expected to make big splash (Robertson, Knies, etc)

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.

Trade, offer sheet or not go after Robertson

OS Robo instead...Tuch in the short term would be fine, Tuch in long term would probably be Campbell signing 2.0

What Tuch as a signing would present are interesting challenges to FO on where to consolidate talent, there just wouldn't be spots for everyone...and arguably if they do sign Tuch they should keep the 3 1sts in 27 as the ELCs will be very valuable down the road

Just sign Tuch and Carlson. Doesn’t cost anything besides money. He fills out the top 6 and top 4.

Kantserov-Bedard-Tuch
Nazar-Frondell-Bertuzzi

Byram-Lev
Vlasic-Carlsson

Carlson apparently wants to play in the Eastern Conference.

Anyways bring back Patrick Kane for good will

At this point, they may as well just re-sign Kane for the easy PR win. It's not like they're still making decisions in the interest of long-term planning anymore.

One trade and eveything is not long term anymore. Such hilarity

I look forward to peaking roughly as high as the LA Kings of the last few years; another team that tried to shortcut their rebuild by making negative-value trades with a short-term mindset.

A name to keep an eye on for the Hawks is Brock Boeser.

I could totally see our GM throwing away a ton of assets on a overpaid 45-50 pt winger who is going to turn 30 yrs old next year and signed to a shitty costly longterm contract all based on what was a fluke 73 pt season riding shotgun during JT Miller career year and having Norris trophy winner Hughes feeding him puck

If you go and look almost all his scoring was result of Miller and Hughes play

"Mark Jankowski" lmao

When discussing players, you lost your seat at the table long ago with your idiotic takes...
