They were separate boards. I think BB became a private board. I posted a lot on Frank's board but I rarely posted on BB. I remember arguing with Giovi a time or two. There was a guy from Lethbridge that was a great poster but I can't recall his name.
Is it JimC you are talking about. I remember a big group of us including Jim met at Pequods to watch the Hawks first championship where Kane scored the goal noone knew went in. Those were good days.

I really wish YouTube tv would carry this channel

Hoping to god there is a marquee merger or at least the hawks leave and join marquee and they can just let Reinsdorf wallow in his own stupidity as his directionless teams could have the entire CHSN channel

I remember JimC being pretty entertaining but that isn't who I was thinking about. I went by Scott_N, back then. Those were great days after having to put up with Dolla Bill and Pully's shenanigans for so long.

The only poster from Lethbridge, that I know about was....me.

I think everyone went at it with everyone else at one point or another back then. JimC and I had some battles and ended up friends. We still exchange texts. He came out west a couple of times and we met up with other guys on Franks board in Calgary and Edmonton.

Good times.

I switched from YTTV to Hulu for the espn+ being included. And it is about the same price as yttv but much more content available.

Either way……nhl network not being on major streaming services is full re….

NHLN is on Fubo which is why I opted for Fubo a few years ago at this point. I think they were one of the few that had NBCSN at the time as well when they still carried games.

Haven't compared it with anything since because it has met our needs even if it has gotten a bit pricey.

I remember having a big argument about the 2007 draft with someone. I was dead set on Kane and they were all for Turris. I can't remember if that was you or another poster. Hard to believe it's been almost 20 years.

I was all for Kane. I remember Fiddy being all for Turris, and there were a few more in favor of Turris. I remember someone being mad they didn't take Voracek, lol. Some pretty intense debates, iirc. Yeah, it's hard to believe how much time has gone by.

Comcast is raising the regional sports fee for the Chicagoland area by 5% despite it still not carrying CHSN.

Say what you will about how CHSN has botched this, and they certainly have, but it's pretty ballsy for Comcast to RAISE these fees when the only regional sports network they're carrying right now is Marquee.

Dish network did the same bs years ago. They lost NBCH back in like 2018 and continuously raised their pricing since.

It was a poster from Western Canada with a heavy Dub bias and claimed to be a part time scout. I remember him comparing Kane to Alexandre Daigle which set me off. He also posted on the official site when it still had a message board. Good times.

I think word salad was really into Turris or Voracek. OOps reread your post and that is what you said. Doh!

I think Stuy was from Calgary, but I can't remember his stance on that draft. There was a couple of posters from Edmonton as well, but I can't remember their names. I definitely followed the Dub back then, but was just a fan. Could it have been someone from BC? He played in the BCHL before he went to college.

I don't think it was Stuy. It was a very frequent poster, though. They were always pushing Dub guys come draft time and arguing with OHL followers. We did have cast of gypsies, tramps and thieves back then. If you're the guy from Lethbridge that I'm thinking of, you had some nice posts on prospects you saw at games.

Thanks. I did watch guys who were listed in the top few rounds for upcoming drafts when they came through town, and post some thoughts. Mostly I watched for the fun of it. Watching Seabrook every home game leading up to his draft, I was probably one of the very few fans who were happy as hell when the Hawks took him. I was initially indifferent when the Hawks took Keith though, so what did I know.

I loved the Seabrook pick. I went to the draft and met him and he was glad to chat w someone wearing a Hawks jersey. I remember he just signed an autograph for a young girl wearing a Wings jersey and I told him that should be the last time he signs for a Wings fan. He laughed and I filled him in on the extent of the rivalry. I asked him how many years before he would be on Hawks and he said he expected to play that year. Good dude! Also met Crawford, not as outgoing as Seabrook and he looked like he was 12 years old. Fun draft, was a bunch of Hawk fans there.
