as has been pointed out, dobson was traded last year at 25 for two mid-firsts and some guy. dobson beat byram's career high in points three different times before that trade, and still brought back less value.
you have issues with object permanence.
if he's just a middling top pair guy, the deal was an unnecessary overpay, and a failure.
i wasn't even married to making the pick. i think there was better value to be had somewhere else, e.g. trading back for a package, or targeting a player that isn't about to walk to UFA unless you give him the mint. there had to be something out there to do that didn't involve doing jarmo yet another solid.
