have you ever gone to see the Kings away from home?

Calgary - loved the city and the fans were friendly but most of them just ignored us. Strange seeing our Kings in another city being booed at. Funny thing, they play Johnny Cash's song after they score. We lost.

SJ - Not too friendly and some fans have attitudes that they are superior but, of course that I am sure changed after we won the cup last year and they haven't yet. We went there before the cup. I really don't like them. Stadium is loud and nice though. We lost.

Anaheim - We live in LA so, go there now and then. Stadium sucks and getting out of the parking lot after game is horrible. Ignorant fans. We know a guy who's had season tix for years and he doesn't even know names of his own players that well let alone rules of the game.

Rangers - MSG is the best stadium we have been to. Really nice and fans were nice too.

I do realize that every game is different, who you sit by, etc. But, it's odd to see you say that. Literally the only negative thing I've ever gotten from Sharks fans at the tank was comments about a Dodger hat I wore.
Aside from that they've been great and I have been there four times.

I have been to the tank twice. Both times were fine. But, the first time was probably the worst.. even though it was towards the end. This huge guy sitting behind me and he was talking crap while eating and food was flying out of his mouth. It was disgusting.. I wanted to puke and then punch him in the gut.

The other time was better. The funniest part though I was basically talking **** on Thorton and said he never shoots and like, a minute later he scored a goal. The couple next to me laughed and I felt stupid. I should have known that was going to happen. The Kings got stomped that game though. UGH.

Saw them at MSG, a few years back.. Lost the game 3-1, Ersberg was in net. Good amount of Kings fans were in attendance.. Not sure how the seats are now after the renovations, but back then the seats were so small. Fun experience seeing a game at an original 6 arena

I have seen games In Nashville, Miami, Boston, Carolina, Anaheim, St Louis, San Diego Sports arena, and the LA Forum.

Funny story about the game in San Diego. The game was a pre-season game before the 88-89 season. I got seats right behind the Kings penalty box. During the game Ken Baumgartner gets a 2 penalty. 30 seconds before the penalty ends he stands up to get ready to get out. In the San Diego area the glass behind the penalty box came up to just about chin level. As soon as he stands up I stand up I start to talk to him. During the playoffs the year before he got “LA” shaved into the hair on the side of his head and I asked him about it. Then my buddy asks him about the girls on road trips. Ken gets a big smile on his face and then this penalty is over and he skates back on the ice. As he joins the play it becomes a 2 on 1 with Dave Taylor bringing the puck into the offensive zone. I don’t think the dman realized Baumgartner had joined the play. Taylor plays a perfect pass to Baumgartner who has a wide open net to shoot and he SHANKS it. All the Kings fans around us gave us crap for the rest of the game because we had “distracted” Baumgartner. For those that remember him, a wide open goal was about a 50/50 proposition anyway. To this day still laugh with my buddies about that game.

Nashville, Detroit, Phoenix and Anaheim for me. I also went to the first Winter Classic in Buffalo wearing all Kings gear even though they weren't playing. That was hockey-palooza. I had the best time in Nashsville by far. The fans there were giving us a hard time from the minute we got there but it was very much good spirited. We even went out for drinks with the group behind us afterwards. I remember when the guy who sat down next to me got there he said "I sure hope I don't get hit in the head with a beer bottle tonight". I told him I didn't think I'd be doing anything like that. He responded saying "no, I'm worried at one flying from behind us"! It took me a second to realize what he said but he was pretty funny and shocked that we'd come from LA to watch the game.

When I went to Phoenix a few years back, Southwest was running a $60 special for a round trip that happened to be when a Kings game was played there. I think I spent about $200 that weekend for everything. It was dollar beer night at Jobing.com and we stayed a hotel down the road for pretty cheap and even played golf the day after the game. That was a great trip. Btw, I don't think the Kings have lost when I'm not in California watching the game.

Game 2 vs Van...Only about 4 Kings fans in the building lol....Some morons threw ice at us but it was worth it watching Brown score 2 that night.

Anaheim - blah. Nothing remarkable about that place except for the crowd of Kings fans there.

Raleigh - Fun. You can't help but have a good time there.

Newark - SCF Game 5 2012. Tried to catch a light-rail train in, but train got cancelled. Shared a cab with a bunch of Devils fans. Hid my jersey just long enough to get in that cab. One big dude with a shaved head giving me crap half the ride. Good times. Stadium is okay, but the surroundings not so pretty. Gonna try not ever going back to Newark. Ever.

I saw the Kings get their ass beat in Anaheim 6-2 when I was a kid. Terrible experience.

Went to Honda Center to see the Kings get beaten down by Anaheim in 2006. Also got sick for three weeks after that trip, so all around it was horrible.

Been to Honda Center once.

Been to the Shark tank a few times. I'm upset they closed the place that let you buy a bucket of ribs. I used to love getting a bucket of ribs & watching hockey. (This was quite a few years ago)

Went to see a Kings game at the Garage in Vancouver. I think it was the year after they had just drafted the Sedins (or the year they were going to...? I'm not sure now). It was near the end of the season & we were going to the playoffs and they weren't. For every 'Nucks fan that told me "Kings suck" & I replied,"Enjoy your summer vacation." But a lot of their fans were very cool. At the time they were mostly bemoaning the state of their team.

I almost exclusively have to catch the Kings on the road. I haven't seen them in Fla (either) or in Dallas (I think) and haven't been to CBJville yet but other than that I have seen them play everywhere.

Phoenix, Anaheim, Dallas, San Jose, and lately every time they play in Denver since I live here in CO now.

My first few times in Denver I wore my Kings Deadmarsh jersey, and people would actually treat me like one of them. I've been wearing a Kopitar jersey there the past few seasons.

Have you been to a Cutthroat game yet?

I went to a couple early on and had allot of fun.

DU is great to follow too and their rink gets rockin.

I am in Grand Junction tonight (last night in Evergreen) and then off to Salt Lake tomorrow. Crazy white out driving over Vail Summit today. Lots of great hockey around Denver to watch.

Saw the first game ever between the Kings and Ducks at the Pond, a pre-season game in 93, and saw them there a few years ago.

I have seen them several times in Boston, at both buildings (including 99's last game at the Gahden) and also at the old Hartford Civic Center (99 got goal #798).

Was going to try to choose between Nashville. Columbus and Detroit for a chance to see them this year but chose to come to LA instead :)

Saw the Kings lose near the end of the season a couple years back in Vancouver, think Kopi and Williams were both hurt at the time. Headed to Edmonton and Calgary on the 19th and 20th, hoping to see some wins this time around! :D

In Newark, was this the guy who shared the cab with you???

i still don't understand the mentality of people wanting to fight a fan over a jersey. it's one thing to chirp and talk some trash. that's all in fun. you do it at your house with friends, at bars, why shouldn't it continue you at the arena.

im going to the game sunday against the Hawks. first thing the wife asked of course was, are you wearing your Kings stuff? hell yes i am! wear your colors, but be respectful of the other team and their fans. its their barn after all. which for CHI i have no issue with, because i actually like the team and many of its players

Yeah, I don't see why people can't be respectful of each other as a little fun hearted trash talking is harmless.

Heck, I have gone to many overseas football(soccer) games where the away supporters get put into a separate section from everyone else and gets police escorted into and out of the stadium to the town's train station. Most people wouldn't do anything wrong but they have to watch out for the stupid hooligans who really show no interest in the game itself.

Didn't happen to be there when the Kings were there but went to a game in Minnesota. Nice arena. Liked the junior, high school hockey jerseys up against the wall in the concourse and every one I ran into was nice.

Since I live in Orange County , I have been to Anaheim many times. I did see the first Kings game after the 2004 lockout in Dallas. Sat in the Dallas fan zone. Kings lost.

I'd like to say Honda Center, but it really doesn't count as a road game.

@Dingo

Haven't been to NorCal in over a decade now. Are they that hostile whenever they see someone wearing Dodger gear?

He's right.

I hate all Sharks fans. They're all ****** human beings. Every last one of them. Even my dad. :sarcasm:

(Only kidding about hating my dad)
