I was on a team trivia show on our local PBS station in high school.
This is a meaningless sidebar, but.. the last episode of that Steelgrave arc.. Where Sonny & Vinnie are fighting in a locked-up theater was probably the best one of the series. It's still one of my favorite TV episodes of all-time. Wiseguy was a sophisticated show for that era of network TV....director Bill Corcoran.. Wahl reportedly had the NY attitude. He had made a couple of real good movies and in talking with Corcoran, after the Steelegrave episodes--the show was no longer the show Wahl has signed on for and fought with the producers for the next few seasons.
I made it on our social media page for City of Regina for anti bullying. Does that count lol? That’s me with the tattoos. That’s all I got

Lol I’m a lover not a fighter. I hate black eyes lol. Fighting is silly unless you have no choice.Definitely not bullying you around, tats.
I forgot to add earlier that I just got hired to be a regular Background Performer on a show called Blockbuster. Randall Park is the star ( or at least one of them ) and it is scheduled to shoot from February 28th to May 6th. I am supposed to be a regular bar patron on the show so maybe it's going to have a " Cheers " type feel to it.
So I just found out my first days on this show - I've got a COVID test on Monday and then working on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The " bar " that I'm supposed to be a regular patron of is called The Ripped Donkey.
Sounds like a few tough breaks man. Good luck on future prospects !!!Just an update - I have had some pretty crappy luck over the last few months when it comes to work in the Film & TV industry:
So Happy Canada Day to me. I guess the only good thing is that it can't get much worse...........I hope.

BC is looking to increase their production incentive, and the currency exchange is favorable at the moment so 2025 should be looking up.2024 has now been the 2nd crappy year in a row for me since 2023 was hurt by the 2 strikes. But I do have some good news - my agent told me last week that I finally made it onto IMDb. It 's for this crappy MOW called " The Cases of Mystery Lane - Death is Listening " where I was hired as BG to play a prisoner but the Director knew me from other stuff so he upgraded me to Actor even though I didn't have any lines. Anyway - my character's name is Stuart Michael Williams and I'm listed on the right side near the bottom.

Of course this means that I will have to start charging a lot more for my autographed photos.
These are cool recollections..Saw the thread title and had an old memory of walking around my local mall as a kid. I was minding my own business and got a gentle shove from a security guard. Turned out they were filming a scene for Melrose Place and they were clearing a path for Courtney Thorne-Smith and Andrew Shue to exit the store.
Circa 2013, my friend and I were in Washington DC and she wanted to visit one of the museums. At some point we got flagged down by a TV crew filming a show for the Smithsonian channel. They coaxed us by saying it would be "easy trivia." And then when they start filming, the host tells us that the category is "We're going to give you the Confederate name of a Civil War battle, you tell us the more well-known Union name."
First Battle of ManassasShilohFirst Bull Run, I got that one from deductionSharpsburgPittsburg LandingAntietam, I believe host gave us a clue that it was the battle with the most casualties
Younger me in AP US History didn't know that there were two different names for the same battle. When I watched the episode months later, they edited out the one that I got correct and instead used the other footage of us looking clueless.
These are cool recollections..
It is lame, but not surprising that your responses were unflatteringly edited.. Did the Smithsonian channel explain in the episode, the contrasting naming styles? The Union named battles after nearby rivers, Confederates used nearby towns.
I'm curious if you don't mind me asking.. I see your listed location is San Diego, was the Melrose episode filmed at the outdoor Horton Plaza? I used to go there once in a while in the early '00s, when it had a different name. But seems like a cool filming location, if they weren't filming in LA?
After Amanda points out to Alison that her engagement ring is quite cheap, she and Billy go shopping for a real diamond ring. Jo realizes that she's pregnant with Reed's baby and considers whether or not to have an abortion, while Jake cancels out on a dinner date with Amanda to be with Jo. Meanwhile, Sydney plans hers and Michael's wedding by mailing invitations, gets into a fistfight with Jane over wearing her old wedding dress and scorns her mother who tries to talk her out of it. At the ceremony on the beach, Matt is the best man (and the only one in attendance) while Michael decides to murder Sydney afterwards to shut her up permanently.
