How would a new coach help this roster? On a good day the entire Pittsburgh media shares one brain cell

Well a new coach would not endorse the signings and absurd playing time for a few guys:

-Harkins
-JC
-Nieto
-Acciari

I can go on, but I'd run out of room on this dialogue box.

And yes I understand you can't ice a team of all stars, but you also have the power as a coach to not play these trash dudes more than he had.

I choose to believe that Ned yelling down the bench was him telling Sullivan he was the clown at his own party. Which lead to the team realizing that Sullivan actually is a clown, allowing them to go into business for themselves and play the way they want to play instead of being a team of 4th liners. Which of course led to the comeback.

Yeah, right. And Grizzly Adams had a beard.

I just listened in part to a Kan Dingerski chat and heard him say Sullivan revolutionized hockey in 2016 lol…then I had to turn it off and remember why he should be ignored ..
You don't think so? At all? I think it really opened a lot of teams eyes from the big heavy team design, to the fast support style.

I mean, i guess it wasn't a new idea, but it was a bit against he grain.

The goodwill from that is long run out, though. And without key injuries, not sure Murray would have arrived to save us or HBK.

But the forecheck and neutral zone pressure of those, especially, the first Cup team is poetry in motion.

If you really want to shitpost with Andy..

.. You gotta ask... How does one "accidentally" find themselves watching/listening to a DK anything?

Let's focus on the real issue, here.

Like. An entire internet. And this is where Andy is at? Makes you wonder....
That was just a gentle nudge at Andy. More a shot at dk if you notice the spelling. Same shitty, holier than thou, egotistical, know-it-all, attitude as the other dk but without the modicum of success.

It was a good plan with the right players…but I wouldn’t call it revolutionary lol…there is nothing revolutionary about hockey lol

Yeah i mostly agree

It's just extra sully glazing

The team WAS not going to win with Johnston. But sully just moved the same pieces on the chessboard and got... Lucky... For lack of a better word

I didn't thought I'll get there, but I think I started hating on Sully with a passion. Pens is the only professional sports team I cared about for a long period of time (more than a decade) and I don't think I'll get this experience in my lifetime again.

For several years, Pens have been a boring, unwatchable team that couldn't even make it to the playoffs. Yet Sullivan never has been on the hot seat. Stupid ownership and management do nothing but sing praise for him. His media fanboys like Yohe and Kingerski are just laughable.
It's all a farce.

I believe that Pens could do so so much better with just a different coach.
And with a better management (with Sid and Geno still leading, not traded, like some fools would like), they would compete like the Caps doing right now.
