I think early returns were bad but he turned it around. When Bobrovsky is on his game, he is a Hall of Fame level goaltender
Man the dude won the cup and went to the finals the year before, not sure what your expectations are?? Thats like asking is Gretzky good? after he wins multiple stanley cups with the Oilers.I mean as far as I remember it was considered a pretty risky investment.
2023 Cup Finals as starter and was more or less the main reason they got there.
2024 Cup win as starter and a big reason they got it.

I would take 10.5 million of dead cap for 7 years just to see the Oilers win the Cup.
I feel goaltending has been undervalued for a long time now. Most teams / fans think a 1-2 punch is the best.
Come playoff time IMO you have to have a clear cut #1
Bob found his game again though, he had a couple rough seasons from the end of his time in CBJ and the beginning in FLA but I think he has been very solid for themThey won in spite of that contract. That's a feat in and of itself.

that is what a lot of non Panther fans are asking...2023 Cup Finals as starter and was more or less the main reason they got there.
