Erik Cernak will probably make it for Slovakia, is in his 2nd tournament now and eligible for two more.
Seeing these kids playing at the WJC brought me to a really interesting question. How long until Japan's Aito Iguchi gets suited up for the tourney?
Since the IIHF has a rule now that mandates a minimum age of 15, probably at least 4 more years.
Who in their right mind would ever put a 14 year old out on the ice in this tourney, considering all the safety issues?
Subban is pretty funny for us swedes too. Subba means b*tch and subban means the/that b*tch![]()
Mutis probably refers to
Mutsis = your mom
What a thread for Finns.
Or it could be a racist thing... Various derivations from "muta"(mud) are sometimes used as slurs for darker complexioned individuals.
Why? P.K. gets way too much hate![]()
Probably not as much this tournament but the lower levels of the U20 where the competition is much worse, and countries have much less depth. Anyone with the skill of a 14 year old Crosby would probably rip up division 2B or 3 if one of those countries ever had anything close to a Crosby like player.

Actually looks like a 14 year old played for Iceland this year despite the supposed age restriction.

That's a (now) 17-year old who plays for Estonia
