Tyler Wall starting in goal. 7 defensemen dresses. Presumably Geertson playing forward. Scratches, Taylor, Whelan, Domwski, Fontaine, Ronning, Elmer.

Just checking the boxscore--Brodzinski's back in Hartford---he stakes the Pack to a 1-0 lead. Geertseen found himself a dance partner already. Tyler Wall's stopped the first 12 shots he's faced.

I don't know if that Cuylle hit should be a 5 minute major. Was a bit late though. The angle is hard to tell. It's no wonder this league is failing.

The Pack dump the puck behind the net and the goalie misplays it leaving Greco to pass out to Brodzinski. Pack get a gift. Other than that and some good chances on one power play Bruins dominate outshooting Pack 17-6. Wall solid. No easy ones. Bruins score on a strange play. Each side has 4 players on the ice with the the Pack penalty about to end. So Pack anticipating the power play sends out Reuananen and 3 forwards with Greco at the point for the 10 seconds until the Pack penalty ends. Except the Bruins win the puck on the face-off and Greco doesn't get back leading to a 2-1. Reunanen snow angels with Wall stopping an initial close in shot but leaving rebound that the Bruins put in. Just a dumb play by Greco.

I agree. The Bruin player turns his back at the last second and Cuylle hits him into the boards. But I thought the rule was no boarding if a player turns his back at the last second. I think Cuylle thrown out of game because cause Reuschhoff serves his penalty although announcer doesn't mention that. So the Pack has to kill a a 5 minute penalty and maybe a minute in Brodzinski takes a penalty. Pack kill the 5-3 until Barron tripped ending the 5-3.

The Geertson fight was a good one with each player throwing haymakers. If you are in to that sort of thing it is worth trying to find a replay.

Sucks that Cuylle was thrown out, but it's good to see him being physically involved as that's a major part of his game. He just turned 19 so it's good to see him not being afraid to dish it out against older players.

Official call was interference. Gets five minutes and a game.

2-1 Bruins after 2. Better period for the Pack. Better in that they weren't as horrible as they were in the first period. Wall beaten on an unscreened shot from the top of the circle on a power play. The camera angles are not great but looked to me like Wall should have had that one. Shots in period are 12-6 Bruins. Only 13 shots on goal for Pack through 2. Newell made a couple of nice plays. Power play looked decent and penalty kill successful except for one Wall let in.

Agree a good play by Barron and AHL stream at this location is just terrible. A better period for the Pack with several good chances in front by Gettinger, Barron, Newell and Reuschhhoff. Khodorenko made a couple of good set up plays although he lost the puck in OT and gave up a breakaway that Wall stopped. Pack tied the game early in the 3rd when Brodzinski picks up a loose puck in center ice and drives down the right wing and his shot finds the back of the net. Crawley takes a lazy tripping penalty with two minutes left in regulation but they don't score.

Wall much better today although I did think he let in one he should have had. Brodzinski clearly is the best Pack player and his return makes a big difference. Greco and Thompson continue to suck. Defense not good at advancing the puck except for Reunanen and Raddysh. Reunanen quiet today and made one bad pass to Loverde's skates with Loverde having to trip the Bruin player who recovered the puck. I continue to see flashes from Barron, Khodorenko, Newell, Reuschooff but not dominating. Cuylle thrown out early. I'm not sure what the other forwards are doing out there. Ty Ronning played two games and was one of the best players in one game and one of the better players in the second. He's not an NHL player but he's better than several of the guys the Pack are playing.
Looked like a beauty OT winner by Barron...take this description w a grain of salt given it was an AHL stream w no replay. Carried the puck up, did a little toe drag around a defender's stick, then was in on a 2-on-1 w Brodzinsky. Opted to take the shot and ripped it by the goalie.

As I said before, Geertsen can really go. Glad they carry him in the A.

Love Barron putting up points as a pro from the start.

To those complaining of the camera angle, it does suck--but remember Providence is not playing games in their normal arena but in some other random place.
