Love seeing BMB and Sykora on the PP and producing.

I also really like Bo Groulx. I liked him in his draft year. If we're out of it later in the season I'd love to see him get a look. He wouldn't be the first guy to carve out a role as a regular at age 25 or older.

I imagine they will if they pack it up at the deadline to see what he does, and to have him remain an RFA.

He is what I wish Rempe was.

He’ll get a shot this year if they sell off some parts IMO.

The physical game Chmelar is playing he might have to fight at least once in a while and that's something he has almost no practice at. The fight he got in a week or so ago happened after he'd flattened a player and he was jumped from behind. Against most players that won't mean much. Runs into the wrong guy though he could get pummeled.

You'd want him to continue what he's doing though. He reminds me a lot of Jordan Greenway. About the same size and Greenway's a big hitter too. Not a great fighter though either. Because of his bulk though Jordan is hard to hurt but it seems there are 3/4 times a year he really has to defend himself.

A guy who’s game I think Chemlar reminds me of a bit is Troy Brouwer. Brouwer was never a phenomenal defensive player but he was physical, big and a good skater. I don’t think Chmelar puts up the peak output that Brouwer did (45 points or so) but I could see 30 in a given year
I'd take it. Brouwer was underrated and a cup winner

Benoit-Oliver Grouxl ties the game 1-1 and he deserves to be resigned to a 2 or 3 year deal. He has been a great find for the Rangers and Wolfpack. I hope he gets some games this season. Only 24 and plays center a depth issue for the Rangers

The problem is that Groulx will be unrestricted at season's end. No doubt he'll want to sign with an organization where he won't be in the AHL......he'll be earning an NHL salary. If the Rangers NHL team doesn't look like a reality for that I don't think he'll resign with us. He's making $300K in Hartford this year. If no NHL team gives him what he's hoping for there are also European leagues and he could potentially earn more and have better benefits/perks playing say in Switzerland or Germany as well. He's one of those in his mid to later 20's years whose future is a bit iffy and playing in the AHL when you're his age isn't necessarily all that great.

Springfield has a LD, Matt Kessel. I’ve only seen some of his NHL games and all his T-Birds games against Hartford. Small sample size.
Seems like a solid player. Leschyshyn was on a breakaway and Kessel chased him down. Leschyshyn skates well.

Brennan Othmann camped out in the crease taking a pounding from Hunter Skinner.
Shows growth. Hopeful sign .
took and drew a penalty.. embellishment?

pack suffer from what plagues nyr - do not engineer good slot shots. lots of cross ice attempts like the one sykora tried to feed that led to the rush the other way. it's either shots from the point into traffic or cross ice passes thru traffic, like 5 sticks.

on the walls they look fine, battling well, but not creating.

I’ve been watching this team all season and I still can’t figure out what the coach’s system is?
Not enjoyable.
Last season under Knoblaugh/Smith it was enjoyable.
North/South hockey. In the O-Zone after set-up always a man net front, always a man on the half wall.
In the D-Zone 1-2-2. Kept the net front clear.
