There's just very little talent for them to be good. Also doesn't help that every AHL vet we sign turns into Patrick Rismiller down there.

This is the problem with this season. The Rangers have essentially nothing available in the farm. 95% of their prospects are too green and playing in Juniors/Europe/NCAA.

How is paju looking?

Wasnt he supposed to be a shooter? Is there any chance he could get called up this year
I haven't watched a ton of them but in the games I have watched he's been pretty meh. It's hard to evaluate though because the forward corps either hasn't gelled at all, or they just have no idea what they're supposed to be doing (sound familiar?). As a result it's really hard to assess guys individually since up front everything is a mess.

My favorite prospect forward is Trivigno. He's generally noticeable most shifts. Cuylle this year reminds me a bit of Pajuniemi last year where the baseline numbers are pretty good for a rookie but on a shift-by-shift basis it's not there yet.

Henriksson, I still don't see it. Those pointing out he makes some plays are absolutely correct, but that's been his M.O. for a while now, where he can do some nice things each game but the production isn't there. He has a couple years to put it together but I'm not sure he's even a good AHL player, honestly.

Once again. You’re awesome

I will say, if there are positives from this game:

1. I've like Henriksson. Does all the little things right.

2. I like the skill of Trivigno. He has more vision than most of his teammates.

3. Jones is playing well

Not Impressed:

1 Garand with a stinker. A real big poey, smelly stinker

2 Cullye just looks like he's sleep walking.

3. The whole team is out of sync

Also, Robertson similarly not that impressive, again. Where is the development happening? Like why aren't the somewhat touted prospects there not showing ANY improvement at all?

Any chance that they call up Scanlin If not happy with Jones defense? does Scanlin have any NHL potential?
This might not be a popular opinion but I believe that Scanlin has had a better season than Robertson up to this point.
Granted though Scanlin is two years older then Robertson.
I could see Scanlin getting a call up this season. Couldn’t hurt that he is also 6’3” like Robertson but has about 20lbs on him.

What about Skinner? Shocked about Skinner being sent to ECHL. I still have some hopes for him. Why not give him a look? He has some potential too I thought.

Agree with you on Matt Robertson. He has not shown progress this season up to this point. At first I thought it was because he was trying to add offensive to his game but now I’m not so sure.

That was a head scratcher. Just guessing, maybe they wanted him to play top minutes and that wasn’t going to happen with Welinski there or maybe they were afraid he was going to injure to many of their forwards with that slap shot of his.

I agree about Skinner. But also, how is Bobby Trivigno not on a PP unit? I honestly think Bobby T is the best forward prospect down there right now, simply because he actually has some IQ and doesn't just make the simple dumb play. He's just processes the game better than any of the other forwards. I would say Henriksson isn't bad either. But the whole rest of them don't seem to know how to play with linemates. It's all far too simple and easy to defend if the best you can do are one-man band plays. I really hate watching this team in the offensive zone. you can see what Zach and Bobby T bring to the team. kinda see it from Henriksson. But like literally no one else at this point. No one.

To all the people who are bashing the org and saying what's wrong is systemic -- I mean, you watch the Pack the last two seasons, and what's going on with the big club and the limited number of great prospects playing in Junior right now and the critique doesn't seem so off. I hope every single good prospect we have stays and plays their overage year in whatever league they are currently in. I am truly not impressed by Knoblauch or any of the coaches that are meant to bring along prospects right now. I don't totally despise the drafting but the player development is, I don't know -- the nicest thing I could say -- not having enough victories.

It's sooo close, it's striking. First period they kind of dominate possession but have no clue how to actually get a dangerous opportunity. Garand gives up a goal, fine. But then 2 softies. Meanwhile the guys are getting into fights left and right as if the team needs a wake up call. As if it's just an effort or spark issue as opposed to moving without the puck issues and playing as a 5 man unit. Maybe they are being taught proper puck support and positioning. Maybe they are being taught how to move in the O zone without the puck? Maybe... but how come we suck at it at all levels?

So, to respond... yes. Yes. And at this point, i don't even think firing the whole front office and coaching staffs matter. I'd sooner the franchise just file for bankruptcy at this point. Cause I don't see it getting better. Because I don't think the franchise is able to express to the public that they actually understand what the problems are, let alone solve them.

It makes you appreciate the New York Giants getting a tie.

It's an abomination that they wouldn't even bother playing Bobby T to start the year.. insanity. Looked like a shoo-in for the top 6 down there. Wtf is up with this organization 🤣

Skinner is in the right place, getting ice, if coaches prefer Emberson, Giutarri, Welinski on the right
no hurry, he's still just 21

but yeah with both clubs underperforming, many changes may happen
unlike many folks here, i dread that.
changes under pressure are when bad decisions happen

Well, I may have spoke a little early as I saw BT out there for a late Pp. But the rest of my point remains.

Pack signed Brandon Cutler to a PTO, probably for the time that Brodzinski is away.

He's a nothing. Looks like he was under contract to Utah in the ECHL and played a few games with AHL Belleville earlier in the year.
