I'm pretty much at the point where Dubas should just sell at the deadline for futures, clean out the coaching staff in the spring, and start fresh in free agency.

Skate down the boards, dump the puck to the corner. Move himself or the puck, even if it turns into a competition in the corner. Standing with the puck does literally nothing unless the other team makes a mistake, no matter where you are on the ice.
you mean Jake special sending the puck along the boards to no one and losing 20 seconds on every PP...

Shameful performance from the "offense" (they sure are that) once again.

Dubas - "I've failed this coach by not getting him the right players, the depth I provided and the Norris trophy winner as well as the goaltending depth that most teams wish for, it wasn't enough for the incredible coach we have."

That's the sort of shit I'm expecting out of Dubas after FSG tells him to get out there and protect their boy.
The funny part is Dubas got SULLIVAN TYPE PLAYERS for his roster and he still can't coach a team with several hall of famers to a playoffs...what a fraud.

LMAO!!! even that bald headed f*** RIERDEN is untouchable. What the f*** is going on in management.
Which is bizarre. Like at best since FSG has a hard on for Sully, you fire the assistants and help him right? But the optics is what they know will be hard to ignore. They fired Recchi, Martin, and Gonchar for the same problems and then to fire new assistants for the same stuff but this time the coaches have experience being good in their roles but aren't under Sully is very telling.

Reirden was a great powerplay coach with Bylsma and in Washington as an assistant. But his tenure with the Pens under Sully is the worst of his career. I think it's important to remember that. Reirden in an assistant role was great for his role outside of Sullivan. Vellucci was a coach teams wanted to hire as a coach.

Sullivan needs them to keep the scapegoat narrative alive.

Caps fans said Mullen or something was the guy in charge of their PP and Rierden their PK.

We need to unleash EK, he finally was playing the way I remember him, the problem is he is playing with Graves, so when he is deep down, and rely on Graves to hold the forth ...good luck

get rid of Rakell ASAP he is broken....

Eller has been awful last few games, so that third line now is giving up goals and not creating anything..

L1 creates, but they are giving up 5-6 great chances against every game, we are lucky our goalies are playing well..

PP just bring someone from outside and let them pick the line up and coach them for a game or two

Enough of Jake as f2 on the PP or with any sort of man advantage. So sick of him getting the puck and then immediately backhanding it to no one along the walls. He’s supposed to look for the open man and get the puck to him or skate to open ice with the puck but he always just gives the puck away. Rust does it a lot too. Put guys who are better at it in their spots. It’s not like they’re providing much out there anyway.

The most painful thing is absolutely nothing of impact will change.

Trading Jake, maybe, but whatever comes back is unlikely to move the needle this season.

I guess now the hope is they play just well enough to hand SJ a pick that isn't particularly worth hanging onto.

If they can *get* to the playoffs, I think could eke a round out, since they sure won't be riding the PP to get in, but nothing they're showing right now suggests they're capable of making up the necessary ground.

Pens need to just make the moves when the deals make sense. Jake at the TDL. Get the top 10 lottery position pick and then hope for some lottery luck. Pens just need to make food decisions and not force the all in nonsense now. Karlsson will be attractive after next year, Rust moved with NMC gone. First and foremost, fire sullivan after this year,
