Up here in Canada my father was a teacher and if I did not miss any classes years ago when I was In school I was allowed to stay home and watch football.

Trent Frederic is hosting Thanksgiving for teammates who don’t have a lot of family in town. “Oh, I’m not cooking,” said the affable winger. “But I ordered some stuff to make it a little bit of a festival.” Wotherspoon said “food and football” are on the menu ... Charlie McAvoy, who grew up in nearby Long Beach, N.Y., will be delivering 400 pies to four Boston-area charities Thursday morning. McAvoy, who will be joined by teammates Mason Lohrei and Johnny Beecher, will make stops at the New England Center and Home for Veterans, St. Francis House, Pine Street Inn, and The Home for Little Wanderers ...

So nice of the guys to give back to the community
