I'll probably get in trouble because it has something to do with the thread title :laugh:

We have to replace our stove/range, or whatever you call it where you live (a cooker in England).

Does anyone have a double oven model? If so, how do you like it?

Anyone else have a samsung TV that overall is great but came with the worst remote known to man...?

My friend gave me her late father's very nice Samsung television, as she had little use for it.

Lovely.

Remote is Amazon Firestick, so N/A there.

Which reminds, a dirt cheap and still manipulable Firestick might make your day,

😉

I have two Harmony remotes that are no longer made (thanks a lot Logitech!!) that I will keep until they pry my cold dead hands away from the buttons. If they ever stop supporting the software, I'm ready to code it myself, or break out the old soldering iron. That's how much I hate individual remotes (especially Samsung TV's!!). I literally just use the individual remotes for setup and that's it, then they go in a pile in a drawer.

Woke up to a terrible skunk smell in the house. Apparently one is trapped under the house on my neighbor's side. She heard it crying and trying to get out. The smell is so bad, she said when she got to work her coworkers told her she smelled like skunk. :help:

The landlord is on his way to figure something out. What a day.

Had my food challenge for walnuts yesterday. I couldn't get past the paste stage before my upper lip reacted. I am so relieved to know how I will react if I unknowingly ingest something with them or other tree nuts. Liquid Zyrtec stopped my upper lip from swelling and the itching around my nose to stop within 5 minutes of taking it.

I highly recommend food challenge testing if you suspect an allergy. It is a long day and taxing on your body but it's worth it to know what to expect should you get exposed.

Interestingly, my allergist said they are moving away from using Benadryl and now treat allergic reactions with Zyrtec or Claritin.

Did Benadryl f*** you up sometimes? I hate taking it, I get so sluggish and grumpy. It works TOO good.

Never had an issue when I took Zyrtec though

I just went through 10 claritin in the last 6 days to get my ear unplugged. I was sick over the holidays and my ear has been plugged since the 27th, hahaha. It's insanely annoying.

I can't take it because it doesn't interact well with my anxiety/depression meds. Last time I took it I pulled an all nighter and felt like I had been hit by a bus.

The doctor told me a lot of patients are coming in with similar side effects and that, along with new study data, is leading to more and more offices moving on from Benadryl.

Zyrtec only makes me sleepy when I stop taking it for a few days (had to for this test) and then restart. I take one pill a day plus I do weekly allergy shots, even in the winter.

Yuck! Glad you are feeling better!
