Last night was beautifully clear and the moon was so bright. The full moon is tonight but it may be cloudy here unfortunately. I love the Cold Moon, the solstice approaching, such a wonderful time of the year. 💫✨

We had our annual Christmas party yesterday and one of my husbands college roommates has a longstanding tradition of doing a prank of some kind each year.

One year he hid the shower curtain. Another year he took all the lightbulbs out in our bedroom. Another year he had stickers made of his face with a Santa hat on and hid them all over the house in random places (think under the food scale, back of the coffee maker, etc.

This year? He hid 3 of these in the house. We’ve found 2 but can’t find the 3rd one and it’s driving me f***ing insane.

Two things

First, he would never be allowed inside my home again without constant supervision.

More importantly, I’m ordering this

I texted him and asked if he could tell us where the last one was. He said that I’d need to “ask few beers deep Mike, he’s not here right now but may make an appearance later”

My husband is currently laying on the floor in the dining room waiting to hear it again

Go to his house and leave frozen fish sticks all over the place.

Do you
A) like to torture your family and put your presents under the tree as soon as you wrap them?
B) put them all out late Christmas eve

I am an A and ask them....
Wanna touch it ?
Wanna touch it?

I saw an idea once where it said wrap empty boxes and put them under the tree....
Every time the kids fight, throw one into the fireplace....

We started wrapping today and m’lady asked if we should put the kids gifts under the tree.

Absolutely not

Kids gifts stay hidden. They will be surprised on Xmas day. Everybody else, yes those can sit under the tree now because none of those people will see them until Xmas anyway

My kids are still young though. 10/10/12. I guess if everybody is older then maybe. But still, i like the surprise. The magic of Christmas is real!

I have a friend who as a kid their parents didn't put names on them
They would use different symbols for each kid so kids had no clue whos present was what
